Outback Archies 2017

This year’s 2017 Outback Archies saw an incredible collection of sculpture, painting and photography from Central and far west NSW. I was fortunate enough to have one of my photos selected for the final exhibition and competition. What a terrific night it was at the Outback Arts Gallery in Coonamble.

 

Follow the Tracks

I notice tracks left by another

They lead somewhere…but where?

What is waiting for me beyond the gate?

If I choose to go on this journey I must remember to focus on the patterns at my feet

To admire and enjoy the colours of red, orange, brown and gold sculptured dirt

I must not look too far ahead

Who knows…when I arrive at the gate, it may be open.
